Terms of service

Last updated: 2 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy from littlefounders.com.au or use the site. They are written to be read, not to be impressive. If anything here is unclear, email info@littlefounders.com.au and ask.

Little Founders is based in Brisbane, Queensland. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Little Founders, and "you" means the person buying or using the site.

Your rights under Australian law come first

Nothing on this page reduces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If something is faulty, unsafe, significantly different from its description, or does not do what it should, you are entitled to a remedy. Where any part of these terms would conflict with that, the law wins and the term does not apply.

What that means in practice is set out on the Returns and Refunds page.

Who can buy

You need to be 18 or over to place an order or hold an account with us.

Our products are made for children, but the purchase is an adult's. If you are under 18, ask a parent or carer to order for you.

Placing an order

Prices on the site are an invitation to buy rather than a binding offer. When you place an order you are offering to buy, and the contract is formed when we send you an email confirming dispatch.

We may decline an order for good reason: if an item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to the address, if we suspect fraud, or if the item was listed at an obviously wrong price. If we decline, we refund you in full, promptly, and we tell you why.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you pay. See Shipping and Delivery for what it costs.

We can change prices at any time, but never for an order already placed. What you were charged is what you agreed to.

If a price is obviously wrong, such as a decimal in the wrong place or a product listed at a fraction of its cost, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than honour it. We will contact you first and give you the option to buy at the correct price. We will not use this to walk away from an ordinary discount, or from a promotion that turned out to be more popular than we expected.

Payment is processed by our payment provider, which receives your card details directly at checkout. We do not store them.

Delivery

Set out in full on the Shipping and Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

Until an order reaches you, it is our responsibility. If it goes missing or arrives damaged, that is ours to resolve with the carrier, not yours.

Using what you buy

Our workbooks, planners, journals and printed materials are protected by copyright. When you buy one, here is what you can and cannot do with it.

You can use it with your own children or the children in your care, for as long as you like. Write in it, photocopy a page your child wants to redo, lend it, give it away, or sell your copy secondhand. It is yours.

Teachers and schools. A single copy does not licence a class set. If you want to use our materials with a group, email info@littlefounders.com.au. We would rather sort out a fair arrangement than have you guess.

You cannot reproduce our materials for sale, republish them in print or online, use them in a paid course or workshop without our agreement, or use our artwork, illustrations or brand name as your own.

Free downloads. Anything we send you at no charge, including the 7 Day Startup Challenge, is yours to use with your own children and to share with another family. It is not yours to sell, repackage, or offer as an incentive for someone else's product.

Photos and reviews you send us

We ask customers for reviews, and sometimes for a photo of a filled-in page or a child using one of our products. That is always optional.

If you send us a photo or write us a review, you are giving us permission to publish it on the website, in our emails and on social media, with your first name and your child's first name only. We will not publish your surname, your address, your suburb or your contact details.

If a child appears in a photo you send us, you are confirming that you are their parent or carer and that you consent on their behalf. Please do not send us photographs of other people's children.

You can withdraw permission at any time. Email info@littlefounders.com.au and we will take the photo or review down. We cannot recall an email that has already been sent, and we will tell you so honestly rather than pretend otherwise.

We do not edit reviews to make them better. We publish the three-star ones. We may decline to publish anything abusive, off-topic, or identifying a person who has not consented.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend an account being used fraudulently or to abuse our staff, and if we do we will tell you why.

Closing an account does not affect an order already placed, or your rights in relation to something you have already bought.

Using the website

Use the site for its purpose. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it, copy its content, resell access to it, or use it to send anything unlawful.

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise it will never be down and we do not promise every page is free of error. Where a product page contains a mistake, the entitlement it creates is dealt with under Prices and payment above, not by us disclaiming responsibility.

Where our responsibility sits

We are responsible for the products we sell and for getting them to you, as set out above and as the Australian Consumer Law requires. Those obligations are not limited by anything on this page.

Beyond that, we are not responsible for outcomes we do not control, such as whether a child engages with a workbook, what they do with an idea, or what happens to a business they start. These are educational materials for children, not business, financial or legal advice, and nothing in them should be relied on as such.

Changes to these terms

We update this page as the business changes. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. We do not change the terms of a purchase after the event.

Where a change materially affects customers, we will say so rather than quietly reissue the page.

If something goes wrong between us

Email info@littlefounders.com.au first. Most disputes are a misunderstanding and are resolved in a day.

If that does not work, you can contact the consumer affairs or fair trading body in your state or territory, or the ACCC at accc.gov.au. Nothing here requires you to give up that option or to arbitrate instead.

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
